I am writing to you via email to ask you to support my call for an independent public inquiry into the many actions and failings of Transport for London (TFL) and a sub division known as the Public Carriage Office (PCO).
Recently via the London Evening Standard I was informed that an individual with a very serious criminal conviction was allowed upon the knowledge of London, after a couple of rather large demonstrations (4th & 10th of September) and a massive public outcry managers reversed their original decision after an internal review. I am not happy with the original decision and the subsequent statements from TFL/PCO which imply that in recent year’s standards were dropped. This is just one example of how the TFL/PCO have got it wrong there are many more.
The London taxi trade relies on the trust of its passengers and its good name, the name and reputation of the London taxi trade has been damaged by the actions of senior managers at TFL/PCO I therefore ask you to support my call for an independent public inquiry into the management processes and decisions of Transport for London and the Public Carriage Office.
