About
Hi I’m Steve a Licensed London Taxi Driver, I got my badge in 1992, I drive a TX1 Taxi and work the streets of central London.
Hello to you all, just to introduce myself my name is Derek and I have been a cab driver for about 6 years now, does that sound like the start to an AA meeting?
I have known Steve for about 18 years or so now and when he said he was involved in this site I offered to write the odd piece for it and knowing me it will be odd.
As you know, I’m Steve’s underpaid and over worked free technical resource and you’ll have seen that I updated the site look and feel a few weeks back. I’m busy trying to implement all the things Steve hounds me with and I’m steadily working my way thought the menu items

Steve, this “Del boy” looks a bit of a dodgy character……..was he a “white van man” in a previous life?….lol.
Hi, Steve!
I’ve read some of your blogs and I like them.
Eh my bro has got a blog, Wicked.
Great reading, I Must admit I do miss london
Well done! it’s a very interesting and informative website.
Keep up the good work!

Great blog Steve. You need to get the twitter feed from Tweetalondoncab in there somewhere. Keep up the good work. I feel the trade is moving forward. Its a pity that the leadership is lacking. But with the communications that we have now things are begining to change.
Hey guys
Just looking on your website and thought I would drop you a line. Look who we had in our cab, and if any of ya are over this way drop in to say hello or I can get ya from the airport. tell your travellers when they are going to Sydney.
Cheers
Ross
Hello Guys
I read your blogs daily and they are most interesting, truthful, informative and up to date.
Also knowing you personally I can vouch for your commitment and sincerity.
All the best
Simco
Thanks for that mate, very much appreciated.
Thank for the link to my site.
I’ve started a page entitled Taxi Tales – I know it’s not original but please bear with me on this one.
Do you have any tales (tall or otherwise) or anecdotes that I might include?
If so you can contact me via e-mail or from the CabbieBlog site.
Thanks in anticipation
Hey guys!
Great site and great resources. We’re currently rolling out a mobile app in the States that allows users to rate cabs, share their experiences, and report problems directly to city cab commissions
Do you think something similar would work in the UK?
Many thanks,
The Taxi Tally Team
